Hermanitas de Los Pobres (Little Sisters of the Poor) is a charitable congregation present in 32 countries including India with 2,700 residences all over the five continents, fully dedicated to help the elderly people.

Their mission is helping them to be comfortable, happy in a family atmosphere until their departure from this earth.

Hermanitas de Los Pobres of Madrid have a beautiful residence where the Sisters look after nearly 100 residents with love, compassion and dedication.

The sisters have no government help and they go every morning to shops, markets, supermarkets to collect as many contributions as possible. They pray that God will provide for their daily necessities through people’s donations and generosity.

From IWCA, the elderly have been given on a regular basis. a delicious breakfast which consists of butter, jam, oats, cornflakes and cupcakes. The Sisters are so thankful for our help that they include each and every member of IWCA in their prayers.
