Vivekand Education Society

Vivekanand Education Society provides facilities for education for more than 23000 students from Nursery stage to the Degree course in Arts, Science, Commerce, Engineering, Pharmacy, Law & Management besides running a Technical Institute as well as Fine Arts Academy, Creche & Day Care Centre, Vocational & Education Guidance Bureau, Vedanta department and Leadership academy & Research Centre.

ADOPT A CHILD FOR EDUCATION SCHEME

Quite a good number of our students come from poor and lower middle class families, who are not only unable to pay their tuition fees, but also cannot, pay for the other necessities like books, uniforms, shoes etc.

In order to help such students and in order to enhance their confidence we have started a scheme known as “Adoption Scheme” under our welfare section. Under this scheme, we solicit help from sympathetic friends to contribute according to their capacity.

There are different categories from which our well wishers can choose. For those who do not find it convenient to pay yearly, we have a different scheme under which a Donor can pay a fixed amount as corpus money, from which a child can get education for 10 years. This finances a part of the expenses for a child.

The donations are taken every year & official receipts together with Income Tax Exemption Certificates are duly issued u/s 80G.

The money is utilized for educational purpose only. The response to the scheme has been very encouraging. Uptil now, we have been able to help thousands of children.

We appeal to all to adopt and educate at least one child. The remittance should be mailed through “Payee Account” or Online Banking. The Cheques or demand drafts should be drawn in the name of “Vivekanand Education Society” and should be sent to the “Welfare Section address only.

We are very grateful to Indian Women Charitable Association (IWCA) group from Spain our Esteemed Donors, who have adopted about 70 students of our Marathi Medium apart from 77 students in our yearly scheme. They are associated with us from last 16 years. We hope to get continuous assistance with us financially as well as emotionally.
